Head to the live music capital for a rhythm-filled journey through the heart of Texas. The start line at the foot of the Capitol sends the pack onto Congress Avenue, plunging runners straight into the dynamic energy of the iconic neighborhoods of South Congress and the campus of the University of Texas.
The course demands smart pacing: rolling hills require a few punchy surges over the miles, balanced by the constant presence of music stages and local bands along the route. Between green stretches near Lady Bird Lake and lively streets, the course brings the race back to the majestic façade of the Capitol for the finish. The event also offers a half marathon and a 5K.
