The Columbus Marathon features a particularly flat and fast profile through the capital of Ohio. Designed for performance, the route offers a great variety of scenery, linking the business district to tree-lined residential neighborhoods.
The course runs along the banks of the Scioto River, passes through the lively Short North area, and winds through the picturesque setting of German Village. Suited to time goals over 42.195 km as well as the half marathon, the course stands out above all for its charitable commitment: every kilometer is dedicated to patients at the local children's hospital, creating a uniquely emotional buzz along the route.
