Basque Country Half Marathon Donibane Hondarribia

From Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Hondarribia, the Basque Country Half Marathon links France and Spain along part of the Basque coastline. The route follows the coastal road, with the ocean on one side and the green hills of the Basque Country on the other. After passing near Abbadia Castle and running through Hendaye, runners cross the border at the Bidassoa before continuing on to Hondarribia. The race takes place on a hilly course, with approximately 200 metres of elevation gain. At the finish, runners arrive in the streets of Hondarribia’s old town.
