Asics Los Angeles Marathon

Los Angeles Marathon

A great crossing of the City of Angels, this course links the legendary Dodger Stadium to the lively heart of Century City. The starting gun, fired amid the hills of Elysian Park, sends runners through the metropolis’s iconic landmarks, from Chinatown to Hollywood Boulevard via the Sunset Strip.

The course profile calls for a little restraint early on: the opening miles feature a downhill section that can tempt you into going out too fast, before tackling hillier stretches as the route heads toward Beverly Hills. Spectators line the asphalt with nonstop energy, fueled by the diversity of the neighborhoods along the way. The weekend also offers a half-marathon format as well as charity races.
