Running in Naples means having the sea on one side, Mount Vesuvius on the horizon and a city unlike any other. The half marathon follows the seafront and passes through the historic center on a fast, flat course, much appreciated by those looking to set a personal best. In the middle of winter, Naples’ mild climate makes the race enjoyable, while the atmosphere, as warm and noisy as the city itself, accompanies runners every kilometer. A relay race also allows participants to share the distance. After the effort, local pizza is an obvious must, of course.
