A popular event in the San Francisco Bay Area, this course showcases Oakland’s cultural diversity and scenery. The start, at the foot of City Hall on Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, sends the field through a wide variety of settings, shifting between the bustle of downtown, the shores of Lake Merritt and open views over the estuary.
