Marathon de Ravenne

The Ravenna Marathon: the race to the 8 UNESCO monuments

Combining the pursuit of a personal best with the discovery of a millennia-old heritage is the promise of this unmissable running event. Ravenna’s ultra-flat, fast course guides your stride through history, from the banks of the Candiano Canal to the city’s famous Byzantine basilicas. Beyond the sporting challenge over the marathon, half-marathon or 10K, the authenticity of this race lies in its ultimate symbol: a finisher’s medal in genuine, handmade mosaic. A masterful union of physical achievement and artistic masterpiece, to be experienced every autumn under the Italian sun.
