The Seine-Marathon 76 brings the city of Rouen and its surroundings to life every autumn with a major running event in the heart of Normandy! The flagship event, the marathon, starts from the lower quays of the Seine by the Seine-Maritime Departmental Council Headquarters and takes runners along a varied route combining stretches along the river, historic streets and vibrant cityscapes.
Over the kilometres, runners discover the richness of Rouen’s heritage—old façades, lively quays, green corners and neighbouring towns—before heading back to a friendly finish on the Saint-Sever meadow, where entertainment keeps the experience going. Welcoming to curious runners as well as those chasing a fast time, this race is part of a festive weekend dedicated to running and riverside conviviality on the banks of the Seine!
