Antwerp Marathon

The Antwerp Marathon takes runners through the city on a flat course showcasing the historic centre and the quays along the Scheldt. Among other landmarks, runners pass Meir, the central station and the Zuid district before returning to the riverbanks.
The course is completed twice, with the finish at the foot of the MAS, Antwerp’s iconic museum. Between the major avenues, the more residential neighbourhoods and the quays, the route moves through a changing succession of settings. The many spectators and activities set up along the course add to the race atmosphere. A half marathon and a 10 km race complete the programme.
