They ran a 5K while playing tennis without dropping the ball

Running 5K is demanding enough. Doing it while rallying with a partner is another level. That’s the challenge British content creator ironbodz, aka Bodhi, took on at Battersea parkrun in London.

On social media, running is constantly being reinvented through creative and offbeat challenges. Sports content creator ironbodz, known as Bodhi, has just added an unusual feat to his growing list by taking on a new goal: running the fastest 5K in the world while playing tennis.

Rallying through the effort

The feat took place at Battersea parkrun, the famous free weekly event in south London. Alongside a running partner, Bodhi set off among the other participants, rallying the yellow ball between them with their racquets all the way around the course without ever stopping. Maintaining a strong running pace while keeping enough control to avoid dropping the ball requires remarkable focus and coordination.

A concept going viral on social media

Calling it a “new world record”, the moment was captured on video and quickly spread across Instagram. Always tuned in to his community, the creator used the buzz to ask his followers: It’s an original idea that shows there’s still room for a little lightness and humour at traditional running events.
