Sotteville Run 2026: a fast 5K and 10K debuts this Sunday, November 1

This Sunday, November 1, 2026, Sotteville-lès-Rouen will be running to the beat of the very first Sotteville Run. Put on by Stade Sottevillais 76, this new date on the running calendar pairs a course built for speed with big crowd energy and a good cause.

A fast loop made for PBs

To christen the surroundings of its new track, Stade Sottevillais 76 has designed a punchy format centered on rue Paul-Éluard. The heart of the race is a flat, rolling 5 km loop. Built for quick surges and fast times, the layout also brings the packs back past the spectators and cheering zones again and again.

Two main races go off in the afternoon:

Running for something: €1 per bib goes to the Centre Henri-Becquerel

Set on November 1, right between the Pink October and Movember public health campaigns, the Sotteville Run is committed from the start. The organizers will donate €1 for every bib issued to the Centre Henri-Becquerel in Rouen, a leading player in the fight against cancer in Normandy. Runners, partners and organizers all pull toward the same goal.

Young runners and a party atmosphere all day

The day opens in the morning with three age-appropriate kids' races, starting at 11:00 a.m.:

• Éveils (born 2018–2020): 700 m

• Poussins (born 2016–2017): 1,300 m

• Benjamins (born 2014–2015): 1,900 m

At the official village, a DJ will keep the music going all day, alongside interactive attractions: you can check out and test-drive Tesla models, and the Cybertruck will be on display.
