A new course, a spectacular finish, a charged-up atmosphere and a world-class elite field: everything is in place to make this seventh edition one to remember. From Rue Raymond Poincaré to Avenue Foch, via some of Paris’s most iconic landmarks, Europe’s largest 10K promises a spectacle that will be as visually striking as it is competitive.
A new course with a triumphant finish
Considered one of France’s most beautiful 10Ks by many runners, adidas 10K Paris has a new course this year. The changes should go down well with the 36,000 lucky runners on the start line. The race begins in Paris’s 16th arrondissement, on Rue Raymond Poincaré. With a downhill opening section, runners will quickly head towards the famous Trocadéro. Parisian landmarks will come one after another throughout the race: crossing the Pont d’Iéna, taking in an unimpeded view of the Eiffel Tower, passing the Palais de Tokyo and the Louvre with its famous Pyramid, crossing Place Vendôme and then passing the Palais Garnier... At some point, you may wonder whether you signed up for a 10K or an open-air tour of the capital. We wouldn’t blame you. This breathtaking setting should provide a welcome boost before a demanding finale. The gradual climb up the Champs-Élysées towards the Arc de Triomphe will require one final effort before runners raise their arms on the finish line on Avenue Foch.

If you haven’t made plans for Sunday yet, you might want to get yourself a ticket to watch a top-level race through the streets of Paris. With 36,000 runners on the start line, adidas 10K Paris has already made its mark by setting a new participation record. In just a handful of editions, the most Parisian of 10Ks has risen to become the largest 10K in Europe. It is now an unmissable celebration of sport and community in the capital, for amateur runners and elite athletes alike.
For its seventh edition, the race will welcome an exceptional elite field. The athletes from the event’s title sponsor will be ones to watch, led by the defending champion and, more importantly, the three-time winner of the race (2018, 2022 and 2024), Hassan Chahdi. After a quick detour to Annecy last weekend and an impressive second place in the shorter race at MaXi-Race, the pre-race favorite returns to the tarmac looking to make it four wins. Joining him at the front of the field will be French 10K champion Raphaël Montoya ? The Nice Côte d’Azur Athlétisme runner, who ran 28:18 in 2020, will not be there to make up the numbers, nor will Thomas Hansmaennel (28:49 in 2025), Baptiste Cartieaux (29:07 in 2025) and Ishak Dahmani, all of them genuine podium contenders.
The women’s race promises to be just as compelling. Margaux Sieracki will defend her title, but she faces a serious challenge from Manon Trapp, the 2023 winner. The two headline names will also need to keep an eye on their French teammates, particularly Aude Clavier, who recently won team bronze in the 10K at the 2025 European Running Championships. Also worth watching is Mélanie Allier, who won the national 10,000m title in 2023, owns a 32:45 personal best and could upset the favorites. Augustine Emeraux-Lombard, the 2025 French marathon runner-up, will also be looking to contend for the win. Finally, the presence of Cassandre Beaugrand and Azeddine Habz should not go unnoticed. Both athletes will be there to fire the starting gun and run the 10K for fun.
