How to get an entry for the 2027 Valencia 10K

For the next edition, which will take place on 10 January 2027, entries open on Tuesday 10 February 2026 at 12:00 p.m., exclusively through the race’s official website. Given the current running boom and the buzz around the event, entries are likely to go quickly. For reference, the race sold out nearly two months before race day in the last edition.

How much does an entry to the Valencia 10K cost?

The Valencia 10K is highly affordable and uses a tiered pricing system. The earlier you enter, the less you pay.

✔ Entries 1 to 5,000: €15
✔ Entries 5,001 to 10,000: €18
✔ Entries 10,001 to 15,000: €22
✔ Entries 15,001 to 16,000: €25

Mandatory one-day licence (RFEA)
As the race is part of the national and international calendar, purchasing a one-day licence is mandatory. This €4 fee is paid directly to the Spanish Athletics Federation.

A medal engraved with your finishing time is also available as an optional extra for 10K and 5K runners for €7.

Refunds and entry transfers

If you can no longer take part in the race, you can request a refund only if you purchased cancellation insurance when entering, at an additional cost of €4.

The organiser also allows you to transfer your entry to another person through your private account until 10 December 2026. After that date, the name on the entry can no longer be changed.

Run fast, run for a cause

As with major international races, entrants can also make a donation to a charity when registering. That means you can chase a personal best while running for others. Donations of €3, €5 or €10 are possible, with 100% of the money going to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC Valencia), the race’s official charity partner.

There’s also a 5K, just as fast

For those who want to take to Valencia’s streets over a shorter distance, the race also offers a 5K. Just as fast as the 10K, it starts from the same line before joining the final 5 kilometres of the 10K via a turn onto Pont de les Flors-Alcaldessa Rita Barberá at the very start of the race. The 5K starts one hour before the 10K to keep the course flowing smoothly.

As with the 10K, entries open on 10 February at 12:00 p.m. through the race’s official website, with tiered prices ranging from €8 to €15.
