Saucony makes a major comeback in the stability shoe category with the new Hurricane 25. The goal is clear: give runners maximum comfort and dependable stability, mile after mile, without sacrificing responsiveness. Built for everyday training, this version completely reworks the iconic model with the latest innovations from the American brand, which has established itself as a major player in the running world.

Dual-layer cushioning for confident miles

At the heart of the Hurricane 25 is a midsole built around dual-layer cushioning that combines two of Saucony’s signature foams:
PWRRUN PB: a lightweight, responsive PEBA foam placed directly underfoot to deliver an exceptional energy return and help you pick up the pace.
PWRRUN: a protective EVA foam positioned at the base of the midsole to absorb impact and protect your joints and tendons as the miles add up, helping you go farther.

Together, these foams strike the perfect balance between bounce and protection, making the shoe well suited to long runs and everyday easy miles.

Maximum comfort and enhanced stability

Saucony has also focused on comfort with this new model. The new SRS sockliner has been redesigned to give runners a soft, welcoming feel. For grip, the brand uses an XT-900 carbon rubber outsole designed to deliver traction, durability and flexibility across a range of surfaces.

The biggest update in the Hurricane 25, however, is CenterPath™ technology: an optimized sole geometry that promotes better foot-strike alignment and boosts stability while reducing stress on the joints. This model is therefore a strong option for runners who experience painful overpronation at the ankle.

What is it best for?

The Hurricane 25 is a solid choice for everyday training. It comes into its own on easy aerobic runs, whatever the distance. If you are looking for a shoe with reliable stability, it is an ideal training partner. It helps guide your stride and protect your joints so you can keep running with confidence.

You’ll feel at your best and protected on every run in the Hurricane 25. With maximum cushioning, an improved geometry and an ultra-soft, responsive foam, it is designed to give you comfort and confidence at any pace.
