Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience Unveils a Brand-New Course for 2026

A first-ever crossing of the Stadium de Toulouse

This is one of the major new features announced for the 2026 edition. Runners taking part in the Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience will have the chance to run through the Stadium de Toulouse, located on Île du Ramier. The section is possible thanks to a partnership with the City of Toulouse, which is opening the doors of this iconic venue to participants. The stadium is best known as the home of Toulouse Football Club (TFC). After several kilometres on the course, the crossing will offer runners a memorable change of scene, taking them into one of the Pink City’s major sporting venues.

A route through Toulouse’s iconic landmarks

The 2026 course has been designed around several of Toulouse’s best-known sites, bringing together heritage, green spaces, sport and scientific culture. Starting on Boulevard d’Arcole, runners will pass through the historic heart of the city, including Place du Capitole, Place Saint-Pierre and the area around the Marengo arch.

The route will also follow several parts of Toulouse’s natural landscape, including the banks of the Garonne, the Canal du Midi and Île du Ramier. Another distinctive feature is the focus on sites linked to Toulouse’s technological and aerospace expertise, including the Piste des Géants, the Cité de l’Espace, the Oncopole campus and ENAC, the French Civil Aviation University.

Three Fan Zones to cheer on the runners

The organisers are also planning three Fan Zones to build the atmosphere along the course. They will be set up at Place du Capitole, Place du Salin and in the residential neighbourhood of Jolimont.

The latter should be a particularly important spot for marathon runners. The Jolimont climb is described by the organisers as a demanding section, where the support from spectators will help runners keep pushing.

Live entertainment every 2.5 kilometres

The atmosphere will extend well beyond the three Fan Zones. Live music or artistic entertainment will be provided every 2.5 kilometres. The programme includes the Open Bardes brass band, along with the Peaux Rouges, Blocodaqui and Batida Louca batucadas, as well as Dilo Swing. The organisers’ aim is to keep the entire route buzzing throughout the day and recreate the lively atmosphere seen at previous editions.

Four races on the programme for November 1

The Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Four events are on the programme:

The event village at Place du Capitole

Before race day, the event village will be set up at Place du Capitole. It will be open from 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, until 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. Participants will be able to collect their race bibs and browse the entertainment and partner stands.

The day wraps up at the Bodega du 43e km

The celebrations will continue after the races at the Bodega du 43e km, set up at the Halles de la Cartoucherie from 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 1. The organisers promise a DJ set and continuous music, along with food and drinks. Runners will also receive preferential rates on presentation of their medal.

With its first-ever section inside the Stadium de Toulouse, three Fan Zones and a route showcasing several of the Pink City’s iconic sites, the 2026 edition of the Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience is set to put Toulouse’s heritage and identity firmly at the centre of the experience.
