Hoka returns with a sharper, faster formula for its brand-new Mach X 3. This third-generation model strikes a near-perfect balance between propulsion, comfort, and versatility. Sporting a bold, eye-catching design, it’s been available since September 1, and it’s designed for runners who want a shoe that can handle everything — from track workouts to long runs. The result is a standout update offering exceptional comfort that’s sure to win over a wide range of runners.

| The Mach X Line: Built for Speed

After two successful versions, the Mach X 3 continues to evolve toward performance. It retains the Pebax® plate embedded in the midsole for added responsiveness. As seen on the Rocket X 3, this plate features lateral wings that enhance stability through toe-off.

It’s paired with dual-layer PEBA foam, offering more bounce and muscle protection. Combined with Hoka’s signature MetaRocker geometry, the shoe keeps you rolling forward smoothly — helping you maintain a fast, efficient stride.

In short, the Mach X 3 is designed to shine both on workout days and on race day, especially for runners who value comfort as much as speed.

| Improved Comfort and Lockdown

The big upgrades in this version are all about fit and feel. The new warp-knit mesh upper is lighter and more breathable, while the reinforced heel collar improves support. The tongue has been re-engineered, too — softer, better padded, and more comfortable against the foot.

In previous models, some runners found the upper too thin and the heel fit too loose for daily use. Hoka listened and responded: the Mach X 3 now offers a more secure lockdown, better cushioning, and an overall more comfortable ride.

Underfoot, compression-molded rubber zones on the outsole — under both the heel and forefoot — protect the foam and add durability rarely found in this category.

The result: a shoe that feels light, secure, and ready to fly — the ideal combo for speed sessions.

| Who Is It For?

The Mach X 3 is the ultimate all-rounder in Hoka’s lineup — a true do-it-all trainer. It’s comfortable enough for daily miles, yet snappy and propulsive enough for tempo runs or intervals. Staying true to Hoka’s DNA, it’s accessible, cushioned, and built for enjoyment.

Perfect for:
➜ Runners who train with speed sessions.
➜ Those who want one shoe that can do it all — workouts, long runs, and races.
➜ Beginner to intermediate runners looking for a quick, comfortable shoe on race day.
➜ Loyal fans of Hoka’s Mach X line.
